The Cast of Clubs David Johnson (George) Dave has his MFA in Acting from Ohio University and has acted in professional theaters in DC, NYC, Cape Cod and Cincinnati. Some of his favorite roles on stage include Dennis Shepard in The Laramie Project, and Prior Walter in Angels in America: Millennium Approaches. He is a member of the Washington Improv Theater and can be seen in the group's Neutrino Video Project. On screen he has had leading roles in the independent films End of the Line, A Horror Film, and Sheepish. Melissa Powell (Sue Anne Reynolds) Melissa is a Maryland resident who made her way down I-270 for her first film with Stateside Productions. She has also been in the independent films, Harvey Balister and Pie in the Sky, as well as several episodes of Homicide: Life on the Street. Melissa is a company member of The Maryland Ensemble Theatre in Frederick, MD. She has appeared onstage in Wait Until Dark, The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, Anton in Show Business, Sylvia, Crimes of the Heart, and The Miracle Worker. Tom Wedemire (Billy Marchand) Tom is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has degrees from both the University of Michigan and the London School of Economics. While working in DC as a government analyst, Tom decided to try acting as a hobby. Tom was extremely excited to land a role in Clubs, his first film work, and is thrilled to work with a wonderful cast and crew. His hobby has since blossomed into a legitimate passion. Tom will be attending the Drama Studio in London in the fall of 2004. Greg Salomone (Jacob Foster) Greg Salomone has recently relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. Until he makes it big, you can catch Greg in the independent films, The Milkman, Space Specks and Hearts, which were shot in the DC area. You can also see Greg as a longshoreman on the HBO series, The Wire. In his prior life, Greg worked in the real estate industry and has a BS in Business Administration from West Virginia University. Sarah Melinda (Eva Foster) Sarah is an actor, singer and fight choreographer in the DC area. She has appeared on stage with Cherry Red Productions, Theater at Lime Kiln, Way Off Broadway Dinner Theater, St. Croix Festival Theatre and Tanglewood Family Entertainment. Her on camera credits include The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, stunts for America's Most Wanted, Critical Rescue, and numerous commercials and independent films including Hearts. As a fight choreographer Sarah has worked with The Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, 90 Minute Shakespeare Company and Warehouse Theater. Christina Blanco (Betty Marchand) Christina holds a BFA in Acting from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond where she performed onstage in As You Like It and The Time of Your Life, among others. Since returning to DC she has continued her studies at The Studio Theater and has acted in numerous commercials and films. She was recently cast in P.S. Always and Forever with Invision Films. Rock Sabetto (Max Keller) Rock's previous work in television includes writing, producing, directing and acting in the cable comedy series, WTN: Working Title Network. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pittsburgh and a Masters in Telecommunications from George Washington University. Currently he consults for Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, VA. He is a former software engineer and army officer. Momo Nakamura (Carol) Momo graduated from Towson University with BA in Theatre. She has worked both backstage and onstage in metro DC area, Baltimore and Westport, CT. On camera, she has appeared in numerous productions, from West Wing to local independent films. The play she directed in 2002 won second place for both the best production and the best play at Baltimore Playwrights Festival. She is originally from Japan and has been in the US for about 8 years. Felix Stevenson (Charley) DC area actor Felix Stevenson has studied acting at The Theatre Lab in DC and has appeared on stage at The Kennedy Center, Source Theater, Studio Theater, Washington Shakespeare Company, Theater on the Run, and The Met at Prince George’s College. His independent films credits include Mr. Joe in The Least of These and Hollis in Lincoln 44. He has also appeared in several TV commercials as well as CBS's The District. Frank Lama (Jimmy Reynolds) Originally from Ontario, Canada, Frank now resides in Easton, Maryland. He has acted on stage as Randall McMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and on film as Detective Peters in Fear of Clowns. As a producer he recently wrapped production on the Maryland-based feature film, Swarm of the Snakehead, a 50’s-style creature feature. He also has elite experience with weapons, including rifles and handguns. Eric Hunsley (Riley) Eric Hunsley is a recent addition to the DC acting scene having fulfilled his dream of living as an actor in NYC. He originated the role of Ichabod Crane in a musical adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. He also had played fireman in back-to-back productions one being a musical adaptation of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. A native of Birmingham, Alabama and a graduate of Wake Forest University, Eric's other stage credits include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Falsettos, Our Town, Assassins, and Guys and Dolls. Eric has also created memorable characters in both television commercials and independent films.Bob Walters (Hank) Originally from Chicago, Bob has been producing and directing short films, music videos, television shows and documentaries since the late 80’s. He has an MFA in Production from Savannah College of Art and Design and has recently embarked on a feature length project of which Clubs is a part. Since 1999 he has produced and directed several short films including Hearts, The Hike and Crisp Bills. Now living in Los Angeles, Bob can be seen on camera in HBO’s Western series, Deadwood. |
